Advice for Road Runners: We're sure you'll agree the Black/Ebony/Sharp Green colourway in the Brooks Women's Ghost 15 looks amazing. The versatile midsole is well suited to slow to steady paced runs and long distances.
Underfoot Feel
The Brooks Women's Ghost 15 features DNA LOFT v2 cushioning. You should expect a soft and supportive underfoot sensation.
If you heel strike, the Ghost should feel good. That's because a segmented crash pad at the rearfoot reduces the impact of landing. Additionally, this structure smooths out the transition from landing to take-off.
Upper Fit
On our experience, the Brooks Ghost 15 suits a lot of foot shapes. This is mainly down to the fact that it has a roomy toe box and supportive heel collar. 3D Fit Print overlays deliver structure around the foot. As this technique removes stitching, the upper looks more visually pleasing.
Idea Run Type
We know that runners often prefer running shoes that sit in the middle of the cushioning spectrum. By this, we mean not too soft and not too firm. The Brooks Ghost 15 strikes this balance. It's a great daily running shoe that should feel great over a wide range of paces.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
